David Brett, MBA, CEO, Knexa
David has 19 years of corporate,
operational and financing experience that includes 14
years as a senior executive of NASDAQ, Toronto Stock
Exchange, and TSX Venture listed mineral producers and
explorers.
In 1999, David conceived of Knexa and
has been engaged with the Knowledge Exchange vision ever
since. Increasingly recognized as a thought leader in
the field of Knowledge Management, David's work "Digital Knowledge: Copyright Intellectual
Property and the Internet" was published in 2002
as part of a compendium of works by leading Intellectual
Capital thinkers.
He is a contributing author to
the book Realizing the Promise of
Corporate Portals: Leveraging Knowledge for Business
Success by Cindy Gordon and Claudio Terra, with a
forward by Don Tapscott, Butterworth Heinemann, 2002.
David was recently appointed to the Editorial
Advisory Board of the Journal of
Intellectual Capital Research. He is a frequent
speaker at KM events and is regularly quoted in books
and articles related to the knowledge economy. David has
a BA in Religious Studies from the University of British
Columbia and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.

intellectual capital and knowledge management," Dr. Nick
Bontis is a highly experienced KM practitioner
specializing in knowledge management audits,
intellectual capital valuations and organizational
learning assessments. He is also Associate Professor of
Strategic Management at the Michael G. DeGroote School
of Business, McMaster University. Dr. Bontis is the
first Ph.D. scholar to complete his dissertation on
intellectual capital. He is a sought-after speaker and
has presented at hundreds of conferences, corporate
presentations, and workshops worldwide.
Ravinder S. Mlait, BA (Econ), Vice President Business Development
Ravinder leads the sales, marketing and partnership development of Knexa. He joined Knexa in 2000 to market Knexa's original
knowledge-commerce solution and soon moved into the early stage development of Knexa’s knowledge management platform:
IntraKnexa (now know as Tribute). Ravinder has a strong background in ebusiness, customer development, and investor relations
working with internet start-ups, technology and resource based public companies and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining
Knexa, Ravinder held various positions with Stockhouse Media Corporation, one of the world's largest financial information
portals.
Doug Chepil, Senior Product Manager
Doug helped create one of the
first online auctions in Canada. His experience as an
early developer of online auction and exchange
marketplace technologies helped Knexa to create the
world's first Knowledge Exchange and Auction. Doug joined Knexa in 1999 and his
experience has helped shape many of the unique features of the Tribute
Knowledge Management solution.
